Water Mainline Infrastructure, Design and Construct Remote & Regional Works, Pump Station Works
The project comprises of an Irrigation infrastructure to design and construct over 15km of PVC Ring Mains consisting in sizes from 300mm down150mm linked to 7 Irrigation bores and 4 River Pump Sites to irrigate Lucerne crops from a 730ha property.
This project was started back 1995 in consultation with Geoff and David Delaney and has been developed over the last 30 years as the farm expanded to the full acreage being fully irrigated by the end of 2025.The irrigation system was partially developed when TI started to be involved as the farm is now in the hands of the 3rd generation of Delaney’s. The system over the last few years is slowly being converted into Flood Irrigation system in an attempt to reduce labour inputs as hand shift pipeline system is a very labour intensive. Lachlan Valley Farms are a major producer of Lucerne Chaff, Lucerne Bales and Fat Lambs and have been a long-standing client of TI for the past 35 years.
Works Undertaken
Approximately 15,000m of 300mm - 250mm - 200m & 150mm PVC PN6 Rising Mains from Bores & River pump sites
40 meters of thrust boring under the council roads.
Supply and install 4 Vertical Turbine Pumps being 1 x 75kw and 3 x 55kw Electric driven pumps all installed with Stainless Column and Bronze Pumps for longer life.
3 diesel pump units which include 2 End Suction and 1 Incline Turbine pumps
11 Bermad NMI Certified Water Meters including remote display for infield monitoring and connection to WaterNSW cloud-based server, valves and all associated connection fittings to link back into the existing mainline structure.
Infield Irrigation Bore monitors to measure water levels at critical times through drought conditions, to enable flow adjustments as and when required.
Design supply and construct Pump Sheds complete with switchboard and Motor control centre including variable speed pump drives, interface system to monitor bore water depth and current and cumulative flow rates to the client.
Testing and Commissioning of Pipeline and Pump Stations
